Historic Environment Scotland: Celebrating Columba: St. Columba, the Bard

09.07.2021 @ 6:30 pm

The patron saint of poetry, Columba is remembered as a teacher of literacy, a defender of bards, a transcriber of manuscripts – and a hero immortalised in the words of others. In this workshop, poet in residence for Historic Environment Scotland Alex Aldred will lead discussions and writing exercises responding to St. Columba’s poetic legacy.
